Nikos works with photography and film. Through interactive and participatory methods, he researches the dynamics of public space—its use, politics, and the regulations that shape and influence human relationships. By blending documentary and fiction, he crafts new narratives that unfold across diverse formats, including prints, films, installations, and workshops.

He has an MA in Photography from AKV St. Joost (NL) and a BA and MSc in Environmental Sciences from AUTH (GR). He has completed various productions in the geographic defined regions of Europe and Western Asia and has participated in exhibitions and festivals worldwide. He is the co-founder of PHĒNO, space for imaginative arts practices in Thessaloniki (GR) and co-organizes Conversas Thessaloniki, that fosters safe spaces for dialogue and sharing within the community. He is also a lecturer in photography and film in formal and informal situations.

For the research, production and presentation of new work he has recieved support by several organizations including CBK Rotterdam, GFC, BIRN and the Gwärtler Stiftung.
